HEY THERE!

I got permission to do this from

neogeen. A couple of weeks ago she threw this awesome public sketch party in her journal (here) and it was a blast so I decided to do my own (by copy pasting some of her rules) since that thread was starting to get crowded. My contributions from the last jam can be seen here.

Rules

- Post character references (max three), images and/or short descriptions. Try to avoid reference images larger than 500x500. Post a small picture to draw people in and link to further reference.

- IF SOMETHING CATCHES YOUR EYE, DRAW IT and post it in the comment to that comment. Large images are no problem, just avoid… humongous ones, in that case, links are love.

- Pay it forward, do at least one sketch. I won’t be mad if you don’t manage to draw anything, but consider not joining if you’re only planning on freeloading. No one likes a mooch.

- This is a public post so it's open to everyone with an LJ account.

Note

- This is risky business. You might get something, or you might not. Don't complain.

- There is no QC (quality control, that is). This means you can draw in MSpaint, a doodle, sketch, or full picture. Same goes for recipients, you MAY get something done in MSpaint. As long as you make something!

- Link to images wich aren’t NSFW and mark them as such.

I've been seeing this improvement meme going around, but was too lazy to do one myself. However, as I was browsing one of my portable hard drives this evening I stumbled upon a folder labeled 2005 and found tons of art from ancient times.

The poor quality of the pencil drawings are because of my horrible scanner at the time and the fact that I just didn't know my values and shaded everything extremely lightly.

- This was the year I joined Elfwood.
- This was the year I experimented more with different media.
- This was also one of the last year if blissful confidence in my art.
- All filenames are original, for bonus Engrish lulz

I reckon there are a picture or two from late 2004 - early 2006, but most, if not all, are from 2005.

( Lots and lots and lots of images. Just a warning! )

Would anyone like to see 2006?
